About The Position

This position will be working 100% Remotely from your home office in India as part of a distributed team in the USA, Canada, Europe, and several locations in India. We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to support and enhance our applications' reliability, scalability, and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless software delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in application support & troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with JAVA, Angular & MySQL database
  • Hands-on experience in a cloud environment - AWS (especially with AWS Batch, Lambda, RDS, ALB/EC2)
  • Hands-on experience in database monitoring, query optimization, data archival using AWS RDS
  • Hands-on experience in monitoring tools like Grafana
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Understanding of APIs, micro-services, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with IaC using Terraform or AWS Cloudformation

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for enterprise applications, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring application issues and recommend preventive measures.
  • Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless software functionality.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

  • Annual Fixed salary between 12 LPA - 15 LPA (Fixed) depending upon experience
