About The Position

Harry Rosen Inc. is recruiting for an Application Support Analyst to join their IT Services Team. This full-time permanent position reports to the Product Manager, Merchant/Logistics and is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, bright, and seeks a career providing support, training, and advocacy for stores, central office departments, and the Distribution and Fulfilment Centre (DFC) within the MIS Department. Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in the field in Computer Science or Information Systems Support or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience preferably within the retail industry, providing technical support and training in store operations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft O365, Infor CRM, Retail Applications (e.g., Jesta POS, Merch, WMS etc.)
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Very strong customer service orientation.
  • Innovative and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible schedule; open to working rotational shifts including weekends on need basis
  • 15-25% travel is required, including overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Product Owner for retail applications
  • Provide support to ERP application (POS, CRM, WMS, Merchandizing and Financial) suites to associates at our Stores across Canada, Central Office (CO) departments and the Distribution and Fulfilment Center (DFC)
  • Action application support calls coming through the Service Desk, postings to our intranet, documentation of procedures, e-learning and other channels of communication.
  • Champion IT Services through periodic calls with Stores, CO, and DFC
  • Perform frequent Store/ DFC visits and provide one-on-one training on applications, including training through video conferencing.
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing for new and existing applications.
  • Documentation of bug fixes, change requests and business specifications to improve our ERP Systems.
  • Work with Store/ CO/DFC associates and MIS to improve effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
  • Participate in developing training contents for our associate on our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Participate in projects and facilitating the transitioning of projects into operation.
  • Answering Service Desk calls/emails and providing some first-tier support for our Collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft O365) Ticketing and Telephone systems
  • Performing daily checklists to ensure that all systems are operational.
  • Set up and support of PDA devices.
