About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Analyst III to join our dynamic IT team. This individual will be responsible for providing Level 2 and 3 support for core banking applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues, and collaborating with business units to understand and translate application requirements into technical specifications. The role also involves managing application upgrades, patches, and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support, preferably in the banking industry
  • Strong understanding of core banking applications and systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues
  • Experience with application upgrades, patches, and integrations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking industry

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow and request management systems
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance considerations in IT
  • Knowledge of the role and functions of SFTP, Windows Services, and Single Sign-On
  • Experience with scripting and automation

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 and 3 support for core banking applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand application requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Manage application upgrades, patches, and integrations.
  • Escalate issues to vendors as needed and coordinate with them to resolve application problems.
  • Ensure the stability and performance of applications through careful monitoring and proactive maintenance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to measure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications, data systems, and services.
  • Maintain optimal uptime of in-house information systems and services.
  • Update and write documentation and procedures and provide related training.
  • Analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve underperforming or inconsistent information systems processes.
  • Assist with application-level user provisioning for new hires, personnel changes, and terminations.
  • Follow established departmental procedures and checklists, as well as bank policies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head
