About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Software Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves developing and delivering complex software requirements for financial services applications using Microsoft .NET and modern UI technologies. The ideal candidate will be a key member of a team focused on wealth management technology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of extensive experience working on UI technologies like React JS, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery and other client-side technologies
• Experience working with NodeJS
• Experience using Source Code and Version Control Systems like Bitbucket and Git
• Experience in C# and .NET

Nice To Haves

• Very good communication and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of web services, Rest APIs and microservice based architecture
• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to work as a member of a matrix-based, diverse and geographically distributed project team

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver complex software requirements for financial services applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
• Work within a wealth management technology group to build and enhance software
