About The Position

As an Application Operation Specialist, you ensure that our SAP and Enterprise applications not only run stably but also deliver real added value for the business. You are part of a dedicated Application Operations team that ensures our logistics and production processes are reliably, efficiently, and future-proofed every day. In your role, you combine technical know-how with process understanding and work closely with specialist departments, internal IT colleagues, and international external partners. You will be given the scope to take responsibility, actively develop systems, and contribute your ideas – in an environment that relies on trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Several years of professional experience in the SAP environment (approx. 3-5 years), ideally with a focus on Production and Quality Management
Very good understanding of Quality Management and production-related business processes as well as their mapping in SAP
Experience in 2nd Level Support, in analyzing complex problems and their sustainable resolution
Practice in customizing, testing, error analysis, and quality assurance
Enjoyment of collaboration with internal teams and external (international) partners
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Structured, analytical, and independent way of working combined with team spirit, willingness to learn, and openness to new SAP technologies

Responsibilities

Independent processing, documentation, and sustainable resolution of SAP support requests in operational use (2nd Level Support)
Active steering and coordination of international external service and implementation partners
Customizing of assigned SAP modules with a focus on Production & Quality Management
Planning, execution, and monitoring of tests as well as quality assurance measures
Evaluation, planning, and coordination of changes across the entire system landscape
Ensuring compliance with internal change, governance, and release processes
Definition and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in cooperation with external partners
Active participation in the stabilization, optimization, and further development of our SAP application landscape
