May work remotely or telecommute to company HQ in Draper, UT. The Application Integration Specialist will design, develop, test, and debug integration solutions of moderate to high complexity. They will develop integration strategies and architecture to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity between various systems and applications. This role involves formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on user needs, and collaborating with various stakeholders, including business users, customers, and other departments, to understand project expectations, proposals, status, and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance. The specialist will assist in translating high-level business specifications into functional/technical specifications in coordination with the technical team. They will provide implementation, production, upgrade, and deployment support for integration components, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Maintaining, optimizing, and resolving complex issues in existing integration solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability is also a key responsibility. The role includes developing and executing unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of integrations. The specialist will utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process. Developing and maintaining documentation for integration processes and configurations, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, security, and compliance is also required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field of study
Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Demonstrated experience with Boomi
Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Data Cloud
Demonstrated experience with Scripting and Programming Languages: JavaScript, Groovy, Shell Scripting, C#
Demonstrated experience with RESTful and SOAP Webservices
Demonstrated experience with API Gateway for managing and monitoring APIs
Demonstrated experience with Postman for API testing and development
Demonstrated experience with Swagger for API documentation and design
Demonstrated experience with OAuth for secure API authentication
Demonstrated experience with JSON and XML for data interchange formats
Demonstrated experience with API protocols including: HTTP, HTTPS, and WebSocket
Demonstrated experience with GIT and TFS
Demonstrated experience with KeyPass, WinSCP, PuTTY, and Visual Studio
