Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience administering VMware on‑prem private cloud environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, HA/DRS, and lifecycle management
  • 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware NSX or NSX‑T for micro‑segmentation, routing, and software‑defined networking
  • 3+ years of experience with VMware virtualization best practices for performance, resilience, and security in enterprise environments
  • 3+ years of experience managing servers such as Windows, Linux, or Mac
  • Experience with vSphere administration, networking, server management, and virtual environments
  • Experience communicating and interacting with clients via email and phone
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience managing top of rack switching networks through vendors such as Cisco and Juniper
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting, including Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or Python
  • Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
