About The Position

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking an Application Engineering Co-Op, Spring 2027 to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. Our Billerica, Massachusetts site is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Photo Applications team for the Spring 2027 season. In this role, you will contribute to application method development and testing to support a broad portfolio of innovative liquid filtration and purification products. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers and scientists to develop solutions that address some of the semiconductor industry's most critical challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to technologies that enable next-generation semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Fundamental knowledge of chemistry and chemical engineering principles, including fluid flow, mass transfer, and heat transfer, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
  • Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Responsibilities

  • Conduct application testing and performance evaluations of membranes and filtration products used in photolithography processes.
  • Analyze and summarize test results, and effectively communicate findings to global Applications, R&D, and Product Management teams.
  • Develop knowledge and technical expertise in photolithography, filtration technologies, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
