This position will run design programs independently, read customer specifications, read terms and conditions, provide support for service and equipment in the field, and will fill out O & D. Key Results Areas by level of work: Level II: Service – Coordinating “production” with problem solving and prevention. Resource management (material and people): Take direction from senior engineer, supervisor, and/or manager. Initiate interdepartmental communication. Resource scheduling, output management and reporting: Work output is monitored and checked by senior engineers. Engage in product requirements definition and reviews. Handle calls from customers and provide a professional customer interface. Continuous Improvement: Participate as reviewer in the design review process. Identify, review, and develop product improvements. Identify, review and implement process improvements. Equipment & process maintenance: Plays an active role in product design/development including review of technical details, design for manufacture (cost effective and manufacturing process compliant) and design for test (efficient manufacturing test ensuring product quality). Take part in sales proposal, service, or project process. Works in a team environment with operations, estimators, designers, drafters, and/or sales representatives. Professional Development: Will develop skills to explain to customers how Graham equipment works and how to troubleshoot. Demonstrates initiative, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for the job. Will follow up with supervisor on professional development goals and opportunities. Takes an interest and lets it be known that they have a desire to grow with the company.
