Application Engineer II
About The Position
The Application Engineer II provides technical support for commercial refrigeration equipment, including commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance across a broad portfolio of products and solutions. The role supports outside sales teams, customers, and end users with pre- and post-sales refrigeration application support, including product selection, quotation assistance, system configuration, and troubleshooting standard and complex refrigeration systems. The engineer helps ensure exceptional customer support and contributes to successful product application, while collaborating with engineers on product and software development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong math and mechanical knowledge.
- Substantial knowledge of calculations required for correctly applying equipment and integrating equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers in setting up, configuring, troubleshooting, and operating refrigeration products.
- Deliver training to sales teams and customers on product features, applications, and best practices.
- Develop customer-specific programming and parameter settings for custom applications as needed.
- Assist with product selection, application guidance, and resolution of technical issues.
- Support cross-functional teams in driving product improvements and customer success.
- Support commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment.
