Application Development Intern
About The Position
Keysight is seeking a Configure, Price Quote (CPQ) Knowledge Engineer (KE) & Application Development Intern to help develop and maintain Product Configuration applications, such as Logik.AI, integrate them with existing systems, and optimize configuration and pricing processes. Knowledge Engineers work cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Order Fulfillment, and Order Management to design ERP product structures and configurations for new product and option introductions. Their work automates accurate customer quotes and orders, improves quote and sales efficiency, and uses logical rules to simplify product selection while complying with product specifications and Keysight standards. The KE Team also develops applied solutions to streamline and modernize digitized processes within Technology Order Fulfillment (TOF), replacing manual work with informatics and software solutions that improve configuration and operational productivity.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree.
- Proficiency with the standard Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with web application development.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Working knowledge of Angular or a similar framework, such as React.
- Understanding of REST APIs and CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, or T-SQL.
- Ability to analyze data using Power BI, Report Builder, or other data visualization tools.
Responsibilities
- Design new ways to optimize and improve the product quote-to-order process and experience.
- Reduce new product introduction time to market through innovative product structures, configurations, and related processes or solutions.
- Deliver and maintain Technology Order Fulfillment (TOF) software solutions for configuration and operations that complement Keysight Enterprise Solutions.
- Drive increased efficiency and productivity.
- Modernize existing processes and digital assets, focusing on reducing or replacing manual work and eliminating waste.
