First Databank (FDB) is currently seeking an FDB Prizm Application Specialist (Developer) within the Quality Management department for the Prizm Medical Device Database and its Medical Device Data Management System (MDMS). This role is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, testing, and continuous improvement of the database, MDMS user interface, supporting data workflows, ETL processes, APIs, and AI-enabled tools that enhance system capabilities. This includes writing, reviewing, testing, and maintaining AI-assisted and manually generated code; managing data integrations from FDA sources, categorization sources, client APIs, and data files; and developing AI-driven automation to improve data throughput, consistency, validation, and overall data quality. The developer will work closely with the database administrators, build team, Quality Management, and other cross-functional partners to ensure reliable data builds, effective issue resolution, and continued improvement of Prizm-related systems. This position is critical to ensuring the reliability, effectiveness, scalability, and data integrity of FDB's medical device data solutions, thereby contributing to the goals of the department and company. The candidate must have 3-5 years of software development experience with Python, Java, HTML, and CSS. This position is a hybrid role working out of our Carmel, IN office.
