About The Position

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients and internal teams. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions. You will analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that applications are robust, secure, and user-friendly. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications to enhance performance and reliability. Ultimately, your work will directly contribute to improving business processes and delivering exceptional user experiences across various platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in application development using languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, agile team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy new software applications and features based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze application requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications by identifying and fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile development processes to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
