About The Position

ArchWell Health is seeking an Application Developer to create and maintain data and business applications across its services. The role focuses on building internal applications, integrating and interfacing with internal and external entities, creating and improving business processes, and operating Azure DevOps workflows. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud and is proficient in C# development. ArchWell uses Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, PowerShell, and other Microsoft and Azure tools.

The developer will collaborate with teams within and outside Information Technology to identify solutions that support business objectives and help develop Azure cloud infrastructure for data and application systems. As a member of the Engineering team, the role also contributes to designing and developing processes for the organization’s technical infrastructure and architecture.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of C# development experience in a data-focused environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure tooling capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Git.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data warehousing from a support standpoint.
• Experience architecting or supporting solutions in Azure.
• Experience leveraging Active Directory as a key method of enabling and enforcing access control.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn adjacent Microsoft tools, including Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data-focused development role.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in CIS or CS; not required.
• Healthcare experience, especially in a provider group setting; not required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data interfaces using different protocols, including files, databases, and APIs.
• Create and maintain in-house applications.
• Create and maintain monitoring and alerting workflows to improve system transparency.
• Facilitate ArchWell DevOps workflows.
• Help create internal architecture that satisfies required security policies.
• Collaborate across teams inside and outside Information Technology to identify and develop solution strategies supporting business objectives.
• Facilitate development of Azure cloud infrastructure for data and application systems.
• Contribute to designing and developing processes for the organization’s technical infrastructure and architecture as a member of the Engineering team.
