Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing environments is key.

Responsibilities

  • Assume the lead role on Ascend application for constituent management for Advancement.
  • Prepare and deliver a variety of interactive and printed reports, necessary to support the development of custom reporting.
  • Assist with the development of a data warehouse strategy and leveraging MS Power BI.
  • Respond to customer report requests and data quality inquiries.
  • Administration, application troubleshooting, design, programming, and testing.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
  • Analysis and documentation of business processes and functional requirements.
  • Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the business environment.
  • Translate functional requirements and prepare detailed report specifications from which reports are written.
  • Serve in the role of project manager for smaller-sized programming projects in developing a project plan/schedule, coordinating the activities of the project team, and reporting project status to both management and customers.
  • Consult and collaborate with personnel across the Advancement Department and other technical departments to coordinate activities related to projects assigned.
  • Prepare and provide activity and status reports regarding the activities assigned.
  • Conduct investigations and experiments to verify the quality of software to provide an objective, independent view of the software.
  • Perform other reasonably related business duties if requested by the supervisor.
