About The Position

The Lead Application Developer will be responsible for translating business requirements into OFSAA designs, mapping data elements from different source systems to the OFSAA data model, and ensuring proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage. This role participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation, and writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts. The Lead Application Developer also reviews test results, documents test activities, and records remedial actions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related
Seven (7) years in any occupation with a related development or engineering experience.
Seven (7) years in any occupation with a related development or engineering experience must include: Financial Services experience; Experience in the following areas: project management, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, business acumen, application development, and change management; Project/team-specific development languages; Project/team-specific development skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the OFSAA FSDF, General Ledger Reconciliation & OFSAA AML and KYC solution exposure would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Experience with SQL, PL/SQL modules such as packages, procedures, functions, and other database objects.
Understanding of ETL & Data warehouse Principles.
Hands-on experience with extracting, loading of data from source systems into the OFSAA platform.
Experience in OFSAA Infrastructure, data modelling & Erwin Data Modeling tool.
Experience in Java, Java Spring, Oracle JET framework, SOAP & RESTful Web service.
Understanding and Experience in OBIEE Reporting tool.
Experience in the OFSAA FSDF, General Ledger Reconciliation & OFSAA AML and KYC solution exposure would be an added advantage.
Translate business requirements into OFSAA designs and map data elements from different source systems to the OFSAA data model.
Experience with the OFSAA technical and business metadata design, developments such as T2T, DT, Data Quality, Run Rule Frameworks, Processing Modelling Framework (PMF).
Experience with job scheduler tools like BMC Control-M.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and subsystems.
Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
Reviews test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions.
Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
