About The Position

Join a fast-growing team shaping the future of lending technology. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will drive development of a next-generation, AI-powered lending platform. You will use Java, Python, Angular, and AI-driven tools to modernize loan onboarding and servicing through intelligent document analysis and event-driven architectures. The role offers the opportunity to impact financial services, work with AI solutions, and contribute in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment. The position is based in Dallas, Texas, with a hybrid arrangement requiring four days onsite and one day remote. It is a 12-month contract with potential contract-to-hire.

Requirements

At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on expertise in Java, Python, and Angular for enterprise application development.
Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
Proficiency with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, distributed systems, and application architecture.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in agile, fast-paced settings.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

Background in financial services, banking, lending, capital markets, or loan servicing.
Familiarity with credit agreements, loan processing, or structured credit products.
Experience with AI/ML integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, or AI-powered document intelligence.
Experience with containerized application development using Docker and Kubernetes.
Contributions to greenfield product development or emerging technology initiatives.
Knowledge of cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
Build backend services using Java and Python.
Create responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern front-end technologies.
Integrate AI-powered solutions to automate document analysis and workflow processes.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Engineer event-driven systems using technologies such as Kafka.
Collaborate with data teams to integrate enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.
Participate in architectural decisions and drive platform modernization initiatives.
Ensure code quality through sound engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
