About The Position

The Application Developer I is responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of applications. This role collaborates with delivery leads, developers, and business stakeholders to support the full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) of multiple applications. This position participates in Agile development processes and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS, or equivalent education and experience required
  • At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in application development required
  • At least two years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform, SQL Server and C# required
  • Experience with PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Dynamics CRM/365, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, T SQL, and SSIS
  • Experience working on projects following the Agile project methodology
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps including Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Typing speed of 30+ WPM

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, UIPath preferred
  • Familiarity with job scheduling software such as VisualCron
  • Knowledge of Banking/Financial Institution regulatory requirements desired
  • Ability to design, configure, and deploy CRM solutions, including workflows, custom actions, business process flows, and complex fields

Responsibilities

  • Participates in Agile activities, such as daily standup, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, etc.
  • Adheres to project plans and deadlines, and works with the team to identify and address any problem areas that arise
  • Collaborates with others on the definition, design and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications
  • Works on multiple projects simultaneously and has the ability to multi-task and control project deliverables and expectations
  • Works within a team on the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) of multiple applications
  • Recommends and performs application improvements and upgrades
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
  • Follows and helps establish policies, procedures and standards in ALM
  • Conducts research on emerging application development products, languages and standards
  • Provides on-call coverage
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members throughout project implementation to ensure accurate delivery
  • Develops and implements application interfaces, APIs, and data integration layers to support interoperability across enterprise systems
  • Takes ownership of reported issues, researches root causes, determines solutions, and drives problems through to resolution
  • Performs other duties as assigned
