About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer/Application Developer with extensive experience in backend development using Python. The role involves working with modern data warehousing technologies and cloud platforms to build scalable and reliable systems. This is a long-term, W2 position located in San Jose, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend development in Python.
• High proficiency and strong skills in Cloud Technologies.
• Object-oriented programming expertise.
• Experience with modern data warehousing technologies (e.g., Big Query, Analytics Hub).
• Informed perspectives on the advantages, limitations, and integration of data warehousing technologies into evolving data architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Dynamo DB, GCP Dataflow, Pub-sub, Analytics Hub.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on expertise with big data frameworks and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Beam, or equivalent) for processing and analyzing large-scale datasets.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on Typescript experience is a plus.
