About The Position
Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on building solutions for clients’ digital transformation needs. The Application Architect will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. The role includes building high-performance microservices and integrating them with databases, messaging systems, and external services. The architect will write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability. The role works collaboratively with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience.
- Core Java experience.
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, Docker, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Build high-performance microservices and integrate them with databases, messaging systems, and external services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices and design patterns.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability.
