About The Position

Southern Company is seeking an Application Analyst with Maximo experience to join their team. This role involves collaborating with business partners and Technology Strategy teams to understand and refine requirements, creating and enhancing Functional and Technical Design Documents, and identifying solutions that leverage COTS products over customizations. The analyst will develop and implement Requirements Traceability to ensure complete testing coverage, provide production support and incident remediation (including on-call support), and be able to flex between project work, incident management, and support tasks. Effective communication across teams and stakeholders, and alignment with Technology Organization goals and governance processes are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-4 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile delivery (Kanban, Scrum).
• Exposure to ITIL processes.
• Familiarity with utility or financial sectors.
• Experience with large-scale project development and application support.
• Experience with RPA tools, BizTalk, Maximo, WebSphere, and DevOps tools.
