As a Maximo Developer you will: Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions using IBM Maximo. The role involves working closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate requirements and implement new features, customize workflows, and ensure smooth system integrations. Develop automation scripts, MBOs, and Java classes to extend functionality. Use Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) for data exchange and system connectivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT systems.
  • Proficiency in Java, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and XML for Maximo customization.
  • Knowledge of IBM WebSphere, workflows, BIRT reports and automation scripting (Jython, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Occasional weekends and after-hours work may be required to support business or project needs.
  • Hold US Citizenship or permanent resident status, as required to access APL’s facilities and networks, subject to applicable laws.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MAS implementation, Maximo Mobile and Appconnect.
  • Certification as a Maximo Deployment professional.
