About The Position

Senior Maximo Application Developer Location: Annapolis Junction, MD. Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Active Polygraph Are you a senior enterprise application engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving mission-critical systems, and working with modern enterprise technologies in a high-impact environment? SITEC is seeking a Senior Maximo Application Engineer to support the configuration, customization, integration, and sustainment of enterprise asset management solutions in a secure and mission-driven environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who brings deep experience with COTS enterprise applications , enjoys collaborating across teams, and can help shape scalable, maintainable solutions that directly support operational success. You will play a key role in supporting IBM Maximo-based applications and related technologies across the full system lifecycle. From technical design and configuration to troubleshooting, upgrades, and stakeholder engagement, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact while working alongside a collaborative and highly skilled team. What You'll Do Configure, customize, and enhance IBM Maximo-based applications in support of mission requirements Design and implement application solutions using COTS best practices and supported extensibility approaches Translate business and operational needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions Develop and maintain workflows, automation scripts, UI configurations, integrations, and security settings Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, test, and production environments Support upgrades, patches, enhancements, and sustainment activities throughout the application lifecycle Collaborate with functional teams, infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure aligned and successful solution delivery Provide technical leadership, contribute to architectural recommendations, and mentor junior team members Support documentation, design artifacts, and knowledge transfer activities Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to provide technical insight and recommend application and process improvements What We're Looking For TS/SCI with ACTIVE Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience Four additional years of software engineering experience on similar projects may be substituted for a degree A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for two years of experience An industry-recognized certification may substitute for one year of experience Senior-level experience supporting, configuring, customizing, or developing COTS enterprise applications Experience with Java-based or web-based enterprise applications Strong experience with relational databases and SQL Experience supporting applications across development, testing, and production Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability and willingness to quickly learn IBM Maximo and related technologies Working knowledge of AWS Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Experience with IBM Maximo or Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Scripting and automation experience using JavaScript, Python, or Bash Familiarity with REST APIs , middleware, and enterprise integrations Experience with MIF, OSLC, LDAP/SSO integration Experience in federal, DoD, or other regulated enterprise environments Understanding of ITIL , change management, and release management processes Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Experience with Linux administration Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Oracle 19c , S3 storage , and EC2 instances Why This Opportunity is Different! Requirements

TS/SCI with ACTIVE Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience
Four additional years of software engineering experience on similar projects may be substituted for a degree
A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for two years of experience
An industry-recognized certification may substitute for one year of experience
Senior-level experience supporting, configuring, customizing, or developing COTS enterprise applications
Experience with Java-based or web-based enterprise applications
Strong experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience supporting applications across development, testing, and production
