Join our Innovation and Technology Department as an Application Administrator, where your expertise will help maintain the stability and security of the agency’s core systems. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot complex issues, manage system configurations, oversee upgrades, maintain user security, and ensure data quality across multiple environments. Your work will directly strengthen our technology operations and keep essential applications performing at their best.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid customer service and collaborative team orientation.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and detail awareness.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles.
  • Ability to write basic queries in MS SQL.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Office tools.
  • Understanding of current IT standards and best practices.
  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or 2 years of IT industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on application administration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues involving data, configuration, and software defects.
  • Manage configuration, installation, and maintenance for assigned systems and components.
  • Provide SQL administrative support and create secure user access across applications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on configurations, mappings, processes, and service records.
  • Plan and execute major application upgrades, releases, and patch installations.
  • Coordinate data migrations between development, testing, and production environments.
  • Validate daily disaster recovery processes, including log shipping.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing on both purchased and in-house solutions.
  • Track incidents, changes, and problems using call logging software.
  • Collaborate on project teams and be available for occasional off-hours work.
