About The Position

Groundswell is seeking an experienced technical Appian Consultant to join their delivery teams. This role involves hands-on Appian implementation and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. The consultant will help scale the business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery, designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions, and ensuring best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design. They will also implement internal processes and tools to improve business efficiencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
2+ years of related IT experience.
Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written.
Active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners.
Analytical and strategic foresight.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance (US Citizenship required).
Experience working with Appian.
Experience working with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB).
Experience working with Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).

Nice To Haves

Active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.
Candidates local to the DC Metro area.
Experience working in Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience working in Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
Experience working in Data management and data visualization/BI.
Experience working in DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management.
Experience working in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.
Certification in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

Implement complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
Perform hands-on design, development, and test activities.
Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives.
Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
Drive process improvement for clients.
Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.
