About The Position

Segal McCambridge, a national litigation firm, is seeking an Appeals Specialist to join our Tinley Park office. This is a fulltime in-office position. This position will allow the successful candidate to immediately contribute and engage in meaningful work to help the firm's continued growth. Compensation is competitive, commensurate with experience with the ability to grow within the team. Requirements

High School Diploma required
A demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to grasp mathematical concepts and analyze data
Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office applications
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
Willingness to follow up with individuals and groups for time-sensitive information

Nice To Haves

College level coursework / degree in accounting or related field preferred
Law firm experience desired
Ebilling experience in Bottomline Legal-X, Bottomline Legal, eXchange, TyMetrix, and other Ebilling systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Review client audits in various systems
Create audit spreadsheets for attorney/timekeeper review and assist them with appeals of same
Submit appeal responses on corresponding systems
Engage and communicate in an effective and timely manner with cross-functional departments including billing and collections, legal assistants, paralegals and attorneys
Communicate with internal and external clients in a professional, helpful and courteous manner
Complete all other tasks and special projects as assigned by supervisor
