About The Position

Varsity Spirit, a Varsity Brands Company, is seeking an Apparel Sales Representative for East Central Arkansas. This is a full-time, hybrid position involving outside sales with activity across a home office, local schools, community events, and in-person client meetings. The role requires living within the territory to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities. The Sales Representative will be passionate about fashion, enjoy one-on-one customer interaction, and thrive in a sales environment. They will promote Varsity products through a consultative selling approach, represent Varsity Brands by demonstrating core values, and provide personalized solutions to groups. The position involves planning and prospecting, conducting consultations and fittings, meeting sales goals, and maintaining product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to grasp new technology and understanding of Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of cheer and dance industry
  • Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
  • Cultivate an in-home office that is distraction-free
  • Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points
  • Organization and follow through

  • Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
  • In depth learning & career advancement
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred
  • Industry Experience preferred
