About The Position

Apparel Design Interns participate in a 10-week, full-time, paid summer internship program based out of AEO Inc.’s New York Design Office. Interns work alongside designers and cross-functional partners within the American Eagle or Aerie brands and are placed on a Design team within a specific brand or product category. Interns complete midpoint and final evaluations and develop a summerlong capsule collection project to present to Senior Design Leadership. Successful completion may lead to consideration for future Assistant Design roles. Interns assist an appointed designer with the process from concept through design and final development of a classification.
