About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge, replenishing and restocking merchandise, and keeping the work area clean and well stocked. Associates assist customers with purchase decisions by evaluating their needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The position performs other duties as assigned and works under general supervision, using established procedures and occasional independent judgment.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
• Ability to perform tasks under general supervision and use established procedures; occasional independent judgment is required.

• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending suitable products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Make recommendations concerning work procedures, policies, and practices.
