About The Position
Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Primary Care is seeking an experienced, tech-savvy Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Virtual Care team on a per-diem basis. The role provides high-quality, convenient virtual care across multiple practices and regions, with flexibility to choose shifts. Work is 100% remote and visits are conducted by video. Providers must work at least two shifts per calendar month, including either one evening shift or one weekend shift. Additional shifts may be scheduled according to departmental needs and provider availability.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an MSN/DNP or PA program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts.
- Active DEA and MCSR registrations.
- Board certification from AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
- Work at least two shifts per calendar month, including either one evening shift or one weekend shift.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of clinical experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care.
- Prior telemedicine experience.
- Proficiency with Epic EHR.
Responsibilities
- Conduct video-only urgent and acute care encounters.
- Conduct behavioral health visits and follow-ups.
- Provide chronic disease management.
- Conduct Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) and annual exams.
- Provide Transitional Care Management (TCM).
- Document visits in the Epic EHR.
