About The Position

Support primary care teams remotely by completing indirect patient care tasks. Remote inbox providers collaborate with on-site providers and staff to co-manage the medical needs of patients. The role includes responding to patient calls and portal messages requiring provider input, handling medication refill requests, coordinating care, communicating test results, and conducting insurance peer-to-peer reviews when needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in primary care.
• Board-certified APRN or PA-C.
• DEA registration.
• New Hampshire license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient calls and portal messages requiring provider input.
• Review and refill medication refill requests.
• Coordinate patient care with triage and care coordination nurses.
• Communicate lab and diagnostic test results to patients.
• Complete peer-to-peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of testing or treatment when needed.
• Attend regularly scheduled virtual meetings with on-site providers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
