About The Position

Join a dedicated team at Northeast Endocrinology and Diabetes (NEED). We are seeking a motivated, experienced Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Working alongside a supervising MD and an experienced NP, you will manage a diverse adult population (18+). This role offers a high degree of autonomy while maintaining a strong collaborative link with the physician for complex cases.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Master’s in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
Current, valid license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
National Board Certification (NP or PA)
DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift/assist patients as required in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes, as well as thyroid and bone disorders.
Provide education and management for CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring), Insulin Pumps, InPen, and V-Go devices.
Initiate and titrate insulin (including Humulin R U-500) and manage related conditions like hyperlipidemia and neuropathy pain.
Accept referrals, consult with primary care/specialties, and precept NP students.
Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient tracking and results communication.
