About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced APP for their Convenient Care clinics. This is a half-time float position serving 7 locations within 1 hour of Pinehurst, NC. The clinics are open 8am – 8pm daily, closed on 4 recognized holidays. The role utilizes Epic EMR, has on-site imaging and diagnostic testing, and a well-coordinated process with system EDs for transfer of acute care needs. There is a strong partnership between physicians and advanced practice providers, and the APP will be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of over 400 hospital-employed providers.

Requirements

• PA: completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and NCCPA certification.
• NP: completion of a nurse practitioner education program and national certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience treating all ages in an Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine setting is required.
• Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making.
• Clean background.
• Unrestricted NC PA/NP license.
• NC DEA.
• AHA BLS certification.
• DOT certification required.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of experience is highly desired.
