CHOC Specialists, in-conjunction with Rady Children’s Health-Orange County is seeking a qualified advanced practice pediatric oncology provider. With demonstrated expertise in oncology, the Advanced Practice Provider will function in a support role as a clinical expert in the management of pediatric oncology patients within a family-centered care environment. Under the direction of the Attending Physician and practicing within developed standardized procedures and process protocols, the Advanced Practice Provider will evaluate, diagnose and treat oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Central to the role, the Advanced Practice Provider will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the outpatient clinic or infusion center (OPI) and functions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary oncology team, while also providing consultation and education to patients and their families.
