APP - Convenient Care (PRN)
About The Position
Experienced PAs and NPs are needed for PRN Urgent Care coverage. A variety of weekday and weekend shifts are available throughout our service area. This role is with an organization that is nationally recognized as a top 150 place to work in health care by Becker’s Healthcare. Clinics operate 8A-8P and are closed on four recognized holidays. The role offers a full range of services, imaging and diagnostic testing available on-site, and a well-coordinated process with system EDs for transfer of acute care needs. Locations include Fayetteville, Hamlet, Pinehurst, Raeford, Sanford, Southern Pines and Whispering Pines, NC. A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per month is required.
Requirements
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience treating all ages in an Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine setting is required.
- Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making.
- Clean background, unrestricted NC PA/NP license, NC DEA, AHA BLS certification, and DOT certification required.
Nice To Haves
- 4+ years of experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide PRN urgent care coverage.
