About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced API 510 / 570 inspector, with API 653 being a plus, for full-time work in Pasadena, TX. This role will perform duties associated with Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) of materials in accordance with referencing codes. The position requires API 510/570 Inspection and the ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Site Manager, with close supervision and assigned duties according to specific procedures. Work is checked frequently. Local candidates only, no per diem is offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
API 510/570 Certification
TWIC card is required
Valid API certifications and relevant experience
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Nice To Haves

API 653 certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with referencing code.
Assist in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code.
Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up.
Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment.
Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards.
Assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
