About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced API 510 / 570 inspector, with API 653 being a plus, for full-time work in Pasadena, TX. This role will perform duties associated with NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) of materials in accordance with referencing codes. The position requires API 510/570 Inspection and the ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Site Manager and involves close supervision with assigned duties performed according to specific procedures, with work being checked frequently. Local candidates are preferred, and no per diem will be offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
API 510/570 Certification
TWIC card is required
Valid API certifications and relevant experience
Must have a valid drivers license
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Responsibilities

Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up
Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
