About The Position

Turner Specialty Services is looking for an experienced API 510/570/653 Inspector for a full-time position in the Decatur, AL area. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Site Manager and involves close supervision with assigned duties according to specific procedures, with work being checked frequently.

Requirements

• Valid NDE certifications and relevant experience
• NDE background preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation

Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code
• Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up
• Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
• Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
