About The Position

This isn't just another technical support role. We're looking for a detail-oriented technical implementation professional who enjoys solving problems, learning new software systems, and helping customers successfully navigate complex data integrations. You'll play a critical role in Authenticom's customer experience by supporting the setup, onboarding, validation, and ongoing maintenance of dealership data integrations. You'll work directly with dealership personnel and software vendors while partnering across Technical Support, Sales, Customer Success, and other internal teams to ensure integrations are configured accurately and customers receive a high level of service. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support, technical support, implementation support, dealership operations, software support, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Minimum 1 year of API configuration and utilization experience.
  • Experience understanding, documenting, and maintaining API interfaces, including REST, webhooks, and related authentication methods.
  • Experience testing APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated test suites, and logging platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with software systems, APIs, data integrations, or technical configurations.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, and working with data files.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Experience using Salesforce, CRM software, ticketing systems, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to learn new software, systems, and technical processes quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and problem resolution.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with dealership personnel, software vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Minimum 1 year of successful remote work experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree, technical certification, or related education preferred.
  • Experience supporting dealership software, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), or automotive technology platforms.
  • Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting SaaS or software-based products.
  • Automotive dealership or automotive technology experience.
  • Experience working with data integration, API, or software implementation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Configure dealership API data integrations and assist with client software implementation activities.
  • Complete setup, validation, and quality-control checks to ensure accurate data processing.
  • Manage onboarding tasks and coordinate implementation requirements with dealerships and vendors.
  • Support order fulfillment activities and ensure customer setups are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with dealer onboarding, data-feed approvals, and synchronization activities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot API transactions, logs, data, software, and configuration-related issues.
  • Work directly with dealerships and internal teams to resolve onboarding and integration concerns.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of customer communication.
  • Help customers understand integration requirements, data processes, and best practices.
  • Assist dealerships with Dealer Management System (DMS) setup by installing proprietary software and activating or configuring APIs.
  • Guide dealership personnel through setup requirements and data-export procedures.
  • Test and validate APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated test suites, and logging platforms.
  • Support API interfaces, including REST, webhooks, and related authentication methods.
  • Help ensure dealership data is accurately configured, transmitted, and maintained.
  • Document customer interactions, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions within Salesforce and related systems.
  • Maintain accurate case records, implementation notes, and customer documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, Customer Success, and other internal teams.
  • Communicate technical requirements and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Share recurring issues and customer feedback that can help improve products, processes, and the overall customer experience.
  • Prioritize and complete work according to service-level agreements (SLAs) and department standards.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple implementation and support activities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and customer experience.
  • Take ownership of assigned work and follow issues through to resolution.
