About The Position

The Apartment Turnover Painter is responsible for completing painting projects and paint repairs throughout the community, including apartment unit turnarounds, to ensure units are move-in ready and meet established quality standards. This hands-on position performs maintenance painting of walls, doors, door frames, baseboards, ceilings, floors, and other surfaces, including repairs, texture matching, refinishing, and related touch-up work. The role requires performing interior duties while maintaining a safe work environment and delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.

Requirements

High School or GED.
Possess 1 year experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building construction or painting preferred
Must possess a working knowledge of residential building painting
Ability to commute/relocate: Bradenton, FL 34209: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
Have knowledge of knock down and orange peel techniques

Responsibilities

Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks.
Perform maintenance painting of wall, doors, frames, baseboards, ceilings, floors repairs, including texture painting, refinishing, etc.
Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
Must function under general supervision.
Must be flexible and have integrity.
Must possess the ability of effectively work with residents and staff.
