About The Position

Legend Property Group, a subsidiary of The Monument Companies, is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to service a growing inventory of beautiful, apartment units. Our Maintenance Technicians earn a competitive wage of $20-$24/hour based on experience. The role involves ensuring residents have safe and comfortable apartments in good repair by performing a wide range of handyman tasks including maintaining and repairing appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work, as well as painting, grounds care, and pool maintenance. The technician will respond to tenant maintenance requests, provide customer service, inspect exterior and interior areas for safety and repairs, and prepare apartment units for re-leasing. Each day presents a variety of tasks, ensuring the role is never boring.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Related work experience or relevant education/training
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and work from varying heights
Ability to pass a background check

Maintenance-related certifications, especially HVAC

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work.
Perform painting, grounds care, and pool maintenance.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests submitted by tenants.
Keep tenants updated on scheduling and work status.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Check exterior and interior areas for safety, cleanliness, and needed repairs.
Prepare apartment units for re-leasing, including cleaning and painting.
