About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Eden Park Apartments, a well-maintained 324-home apartment community in Brooklyn Park. If you have apartment maintenance or residential maintenance experience and enjoy troubleshooting, unit turns, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, we'd like to meet you. Requirements

At least 1 year of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work either Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.
Ability to participate in the on-call rotation approximately one week every seven weeks.

Nice To Haves

EPA, HVAC, Boiler, or CPO certifications are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete resident service requests and work orders.
Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing quality unit turns.
Repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other building systems.
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

$24.00–$27.00 per hour DOE
Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
