About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. We offer $20.00–$25.00 per hour, quarterly maintenance bonuses of up to $750, full benefits, tool reimbursement, paid time off, and ongoing training and advancement opportunities. Requirements

2+ years of experience in general property maintenance preferred
Experience with drywall, painting, and basic carpentry
Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
Working knowledge of HVAC systems and water heaters
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and drug screening
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience with drywall, painting, and basic carpentry
Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
Working knowledge of HVAC systems and water heaters
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner based on priority
Perform apartment make-ready/turn work between residents
Perform interior and exterior painting and staining
Complete general carpentry, drywall, and exterior maintenance as needed
Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and water heaters
Maintain the property's buildings, grounds, and common areas as needed
Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation approximately every 3–4 weeks
Provide professional, courteous service to residents and respond to maintenance requests promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Competitive pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
