About The Position

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Northland Passage Apartments, a 596-unit community in Kansas City. The position offers up to $28 per hour. The team seeks an energetic, customer-service-focused, organized, self-driven, passionate, transparent, and developmental individual. The technician performs apartment maintenance and repairs, helps prepare homes for rent, maintains the community, and responds to residential service requests. The role requires the ability to work on-call hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a technician position in the apartment industry.
At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
Possess the tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks; must have personal general tools.
Dedication to exceeding customer needs and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Thoroughness, accuracy, and organization when accomplishing tasks.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Deadline- and detail-oriented.
Ability to use electronic communication professionally and efficiently.
Ability to work as a team player.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

Prioritize and complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion.
Keep the community clean and well maintained.
Troubleshoot and respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare apartment homes for rent.
Perform routine preventive maintenance.
Maintain material and supply inventory.
Oversee work performed by outside contractors.
Report unresolved maintenance issues or concerns to Management.
Work on-call hours.
