About The Position

Monarch Investment is hiring a full-time, permanent, on-site Apartment Maintenance Technician at The Arbors at Eastland in Bloomington, Illinois. The role supports the upkeep and operation of a multifamily housing property by completing work orders, preparing apartments between residents, maintaining grounds, and performing preventative maintenance. The technician will share coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members. Pay is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with bonus potential. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, painting, general construction, or equivalent; training may be provided.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Complete a maintenance skills assessment during the interview process.
• Complete a physical demonstration of the ability to perform basic job duties during the interview process.
• Pass pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner according to priority.
• Make ready and turn apartments between resident occupancy.
• Paint and stain interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain property grounds.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep the maintenance shop and other work areas clean and organized.
• Share coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members.
