About The Position

This position is for a Service Tech II at South Park by Windsor, a mid-rise apartment community with 284 homes in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. The role involves covering four different locations: South Park by Windsor, Olympic by Windsor, Renaissance Tower, and 1000 Grand by Windsor. Successful candidates may come from backgrounds in apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel maintenance, or general building maintenance and work order management. The position requires intermediate competency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Availability for an on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergency response is necessary. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Site specific certifications such as: EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.
