Apartment Leasing Agent
About The Position
Smartland manages 1,500+ apartments and single-family homes across Greater Cleveland , and we’re looking for a licensed, driven leasing professional to help maximize occupancy and deliver an exceptional resident experience. You will oversee leasing for a 300+ unit portfolio, partnering closely with the Property Manager to drive tours, conversions, renewals, and resident satisfaction. This is a high-impact, performance-driven role with autonomy and real opportunity for growth. Schedule 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri Availability required for showings and follow-ups
Requirements
- Active Ohio real estate license
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong sales instincts and follow-through discipline
- High energy and comfort managing volume

- Leasing or property management experience
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to new leasing inquiries
- Conduct property tours and convert qualified prospects into signed leases
- Manage the full leasing process, including applications, approvals, lease execution, and move-ins
- Oversee renewals, notices, inspections, and accurate resident and leasing records
- Track and achieve key leasing KPIs, including response time, follow-up consistency, application-to-lease conversion, and ancillary sales that generate commission
- Use CRM, email, and other communication tools to keep prospects engaged and the leasing pipeline moving
