This role involves working in office areas and throughout the facility, with intermittent movement during working hours. The position is subject to frequent interruptions and requires interaction with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, and government agencies under various conditions. The role may necessitate working beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays, and on different shifts. There is a possibility of callback during emergency situations. The coordinator must attend and participate in continuing education programs and communicate effectively with medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department directors. A key aspect of the role is the ability to make independent decisions, handle interactions tactfully, and work harmoniously with colleagues. The position requires planning, organizing, and implementing accounting programs, goals, and procedures, and understanding and carrying out instructions. A positive and patient demeanor is essential when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors. The role also involves seeking out and incorporating new methods and principles into accounting practices, examining and verifying financial documents, and preparing financial records systematically and legibly. The individual must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.
