About The Position

Yosemite Pathology Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist for an immediate opening in Bakersfield, California. The role is based in a professional laboratory and supports pathology services across four local hospitals, working alongside five experienced pathologists in a high-volume, multi-hospital practice. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic services across a broad range of surgical and clinical pathology and contribute to collaborative patient care and ongoing service improvement.

Requirements

• Board certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP).
• Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two to four years of experience in a practice setting.
• Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty, such as cytopathology, breast, gastrointestinal, or gynecologic pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and communicate the medical significance of laboratory findings to referring physicians.
• Deliver accurate, timely evaluations and diagnoses across a diverse range of anatomic pathology specimens.
• Engage in a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care.
