About The Position

The AOG Technician provides rapid-response maintenance and repair support for aircraft that are grounded due to unscheduled maintenance issues. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring safe return-to-service under high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions.

Requirements

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required).
  • Legally authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance; AOG or field service experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple aircraft systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, internet navigation).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Citation X and Hawker 800X aircraft (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Respond to AOG situations locally or remotely, including travel to aircraft locations as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical discrepancies under time-critical conditions.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control, vendors, and parts suppliers to expedite repairs.
  • Ensure all maintenance actions comply with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Accurately document all maintenance performed, including corrective actions and return-to-service approvals.
  • Provide technical guidance to flight crews and operations during AOG events.
  • Maintain readiness of tools, parts kits, and travel documentation for rapid deployment.
  • Support after-hours and on-call rotations.
